Assistant General Manager of Accounting and Office Services
Glacier Electric Cooperative seeks a dynamic, team-oriented individual to join our team as assistant manager of accounting and office services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, vision, integrity, a and a commitment to excellence, he or she also must have strong self-management capability, and proven accounting and management skills.
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting or finance and five years of experience as a CPA is desirable.  Advanced knowledge of Word and Excel is required. The applicant also must be prepared to be cross-trained to back up other critical positions.  Electric utility experience and NISC software experience are preferred.  Applicant must demonstrate proficient oral and written communication skills.

Human Resource/Benefits Specialist

General Manager
The Board of Directors of McCone Electric Cooperative, located in Circle, Mont., invites applications from qualified electric utility leaders for the position of General Manager. The Board has selected NRECA’s Executive Search to facilitate the search process.
McCone Electric Cooperative (www.McConeElectric.coop), delivers electric power to more than 5,000 meters in 14,400 square miles of eastern Montana. McCone Electric’s member/owners have relied on low cost, reliable electric service for over 50 years. McCone employs 25 dedicated team members and has annual revenues in excess of $7 million. 
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of leadership and must be a person of high integrity. The position requires team-building experience and strategic thinking to lead the cooperative. Strong business acumen with an ability to think “outside the box” is desired. The GM must represent the cooperative to the owners and community as well as other affiliated organizations.  A minimum of 5 years of senior utility management experience is required.  Electric cooperative experience is a plus with an understanding of cooperative principles required. Journeyman Lineman
Fergus Electric Cooperative, Inc. has an immediate opening for a qualified journeyman lineman.  Requirements include a high school diploma/GED, successful completion of an apprenticeship program involving a minimum of four years line experience in OH/UG electric distribution, including all phases of line construction, maintenance and troubleshooting.  A valid Montana Class A CDL with excellent driving record is required.  The person in this position will be located at Fergus Electric’s satellite office in Roundup, Mont. Technical skills testing and a drug screen is required. Journeyman Line Foreman
Sheridan Electric Cooperative is accepting applications for a journeyman line foreman. SEC is a rural electric cooperative located in northeastern Montana.  The cooperative serves approximately 4,105 meters, and has 2,600 miles of distribution line and 150 miles of transmission line. Its headquarter operations are in Medicine Lake.
Applicants for the journeyman line foreman position must have experience in rural electric distribution systems and be able to obtain a Montana commercial driver’s license. This candidate also must have experience in directing and controlling daily activities with line personnel in the field. Great communication skills and an ability to become a part of a team are the most basic of traits needed. This position will report directly to the line superintendent.
