Government Relations Officer

Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of ordinary Montanans while working in a beautiful setting along the banks of the Missouri River? Do you value relationship building, hard work and a competitive salary with great benefits?

If so, Montana Electric Cooperatives’ Association is seeking an adaptable individual to join our statewide government relations team. In addition, you’ll serve 25 electric cooperatives in our state by partnering in educational and youth opportunities.

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • Active listening skills;
  • Creating and delivering presentations;
  • Ability to stay abreast of a rapidly changing industry;
  • Knowledge of the legislative process.

Successful applicant must possess a valid Montana driver’s license, present a professional appearance at all times, and successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug testing. All combinations of education and experience will be considered.
